We await those participants registered for a field trip at the registration kiosk in the main lobby (Mansfield Wing) of the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth 30 minutes before the indicated departure time of your activity. It is important to be there on time to receive you lunch box and facilitate departures. Also, this activity include walking so plan to bring coats and umbrellas in case of rain, as well as good walking shoes. Please, bring your own water bottle.

You will be given a sheet with directions to facilitate your visit. It will be important to follow your guide.

On the historic grounds around Abbey of Oka, north of Montreal, thousands of apple trees are being planted. The project «Une Pomme pour tous» is led by the CO2 Environment Foundation in collaboration with the Centre de recherche agroalimentaire de Mirabel. The apples grown on the site over the next 15 years will be donated to the Breakfast Club of Canada. During the tour, the organization will share its vision of involving First Nations students in this sustainable project through food education and entrepreneurial initiatives.

Cost: $30. Includes lunch. Minimum of 30 people required.
